companioning
I offer one-on-one companioning sessions online and in person, including outdoor or walking sessions when appropriate.
Some people arrive with a clear question or season they are moving through. Others come carrying only a sense that something in their lives is asking for closer attention.
Our work together is a shared practice of listening closely to what is unfolding within and around us. Sessions are conversational, contemplative, and relational in nature. They may include periods of reflection, silence, relationship with place, attention to dreams, recurring patterns, or encounters with the living world, or simply slowing down enough to notice what has been waiting beneath the surface of ordinary life.
At times, I may invite simple practices of attention between sessions: spending time outside without a destination, noticing what draws your awareness, listening for recurring images or patterns, or tending relationship with the places that hold your life.
This work is not about arriving at fixed answers or becoming someone new.
It is a practice of listening more deeply:
to the body
to the living world
to grief, longing, mystery…
…and to the quiet forms of knowing that often emerge through relationship.
Many people find their way here during periods of transition, uncertainty, disconnection, grief, spiritual questioning, or quiet transformation. Others come seeking companionship in practices of reconnection with land, spirit, embodiment, or the more-than-human world.
Whatever brings you here, you are welcome to arrive as you are.
working together
60 minutes sessions are offered online or in person when possible.
My sliding scale is $80 - $125 per session.
If cost is a barrier, please reach out. Part of this work is making space for honest conversation around access, capacity, and sustainability.
connect with me
Feel free to get in touch if something here resonates with you.
If it feels helpful, you are welcome to share a little bit about what’s bringing you here:
what’s stirring in your life right now?
what drew you to this work?
listening to place
As part of a wider practice of tending relationship with the places that hold us, my partner Kate and I host a monthly outdoor gathering called Listening to Place at Brook’s Bend Farm in Montague, Massachusetts.
These gatherings create space for shared attention, reflection, and connection with the living world in the company of others.
Listening to place is free and open to all.
Feel free to reach out if you’d like to join us.
